Back When He Loved Me

Synopsis

Claire Bennett spent twelve years with Ethan Carter, including eight years of marriage, standing by him through thick and thin, only to be betrayed once he struck it rich. He had an affair with his secretary, caused Claire to miscarry, and let his family abuse her. One day, Claire finds Ethan’s teenage diary, opening a cross-time connection between them. Devastated by his future self's cruelty, 17-year-old Ethan crosses over to the present after blood stains the diary to comfort and protect the broken Claire, confronting his cold, adult self. But a cruel rule binds them: the adult Ethan’s regret will cause his younger self to fade away. To prevent this tragedy, young Ethan returns to the past, choosing never to fall in love with her. Years later, a wealthy, lonely Ethan watches Claire live happily with another man, left to drown in endless regret.
