Synopsis

Mother-in-law Irene Sullivan stabs gambler Conrad Pierce in the chest after he refuses to halt his divorce from her daughter, Mia Gallagher. But Conrad survives—and time-travels back to 1994! Armed with future knowledge, he sets out to conquer the world. Conrad saves his friend Dustin Boyd and discovers fraudster Vito Moretti is posing as a tycoon to marry Mia. Conrad rushes to the Gallaghers to expose Vito's scam. He then partners with Ruby Sullivan and Dustin to sell cordless city phones, though Vito's sabotage puts their business at risk. Using his past-life skills, Conrad fixes a limited-edition sound system for Southport City's wealthiest man. This connection helps him win big on the World Cup finals in Macau. With his first pot of gold, Conrad expands his empire, eventually becoming the richest man in Southport City. Later, Irene and her secret lover, Otis Caldwell, steal Conrad's office buildings. Conrad traps them, forcing Otis to confess and face justice. Using the newly emerging DNA paternity test, Conrad discovers Irene is not Mia's real mother—Irene and Dominic Hawthorne actually kidnapped her! When Mia's biological father dies abroad, leaving her a massive inheritance and an ancestral estate, Irene plots to kill her for the money. Conrad intervenes just in time, exposing Irene and Dominic and sending them to prison. With the truth revealed, Conrad and Mia finally get their happy ending.
