Synopsis

Ella, a warehouse keeper at a top auction house, has long been bullied by her colleagues. Her coworker Chole threatens to destroy a precious auction item and forces Ella to kiss an ancient Egyptian mummy in the warehouse, filming the whole thing to humiliate her. Afterward, the mummy glows with a mysterious light. That night, the mummy vanishes and turns into a handsome man who can conjure clothes and read minds. He is Tutmosis, an ancient Egyptian pharaoh, and only Ella can see him. Cursed into a long sleep with fragmented memories, he has to stay by Ella’s side, and the two begin an awkward life together. The next day, when Chole humiliates Ella in public again, Tutmosis snaps his fingers and punishes her. Ella finally realizes that this 3,000-year-old pharaoh is her most unexpected guardian. Workplace bullying, complicated past relationships, and the pharaoh’s unsolved curse intertwine. Ella’s ordinary life comes to an end, and a magical adventure and forbidden romance spanning three thousand years quietly unfolds in the modern city.
