Synopsis
She spent three years in prison to protect her family, keep a secret, and for the man she thought loved her. But on the day she was released, no one came to pick her up. Her parents disowned her. Her fiancé married someone else. Even her beloved sister called her a "criminal." "From today," her father said, "you are no longer my daughter." She laughed until tears came out. "Fine," she said. "From today, I am no one's daughter either." She had nothing, but she had brains, wits, and toughness forged by three years in prison. She would take back everything that was hers and make those who abandoned her pay. Until he appeared—the man in the dark blue suit who reached out when she was at her lowest. "I don't need sympathy," she said. "I'm not sympathizing with you," he looked into her eyes, "I'm investing in you." When an ex-con meets her investor, when revenge and love intertwine, what will she choose? A story of prison, revenge, and rising from the ashes.
