Synopsis

Luna, an elite independent female, builds her career from scratch and buys a Porsche with her full personal savings before marriage, looking forward to a stable and happy married life. After marriage, she sympathizes with her husband Ethan and takes in his impoverished younger brother Jakes and his family to stay temporarily out of kindness. However, her goodwill is repeatedly taken advantage of. After moving in, Jakes’ family occupy the house arbitrarily, recklessly damage her luxury car, squander family money, and treat Luna as a free servant. To maintain family harmony, Luna compromises repeatedly, yet her tolerant husband Ethan always favors his relatives, ignores her grievances, allows his family to insult and bully her, and tramples on her dignity. The endless forbearance only brings intensified oppression. Eventually, Jakes fails to return the car on time, causing Luna to lose her decades-long career completely. Witnessing everything, Ethan still publicly blames her without any defense. Heartbroken thoroughly, Luna decisively sells her car and files for divorce.
