Synopsis

Adopted son Xu Lianfeng and girlfriend Chen Ling covet the family fortune, disrupting peace. They battle biological daughter Xu Qingyang, joined by jealous colleague Yang Xiaoli. At a family banquet, Chen Ling steals a gold bracelet and throws dishes, sparking conflict. In the workplace, she frames Qingyang for theft, forcing her resignation. At the property center, Qingyang reveals Lianfeng is not the biological son; Father Xu falls ill, discovering early-stage stomach cancer and the son's true colors. Lianfeng demands a million-dollar marriage home online; Mother Xu exposes that Lianfeng's biological father once stole Father Xu's job, causing public backlash and their unemployment. Mother Xu fakes a will leaving 500,000; Chen Ling pulls the oxygen tube (Father had already recovered) and is arrested. Lianfeng receives 1 year for incitement; Chen Ling gets 2 years. Yang Xiaoli defrauds Lianfeng into prison; Chen Ling's family is also prosecuted. Father Xu recovers, Qingyang receives a 3-million property and marries Dr. Xie An, helped by a neighbor (Xie An's mother), restoring family peace.
