Adopted Lover

Synopsis

A brilliant but penniless law student, Leo Vale, saves wealthy Sophia Hale from drowning and is invited to stay at the Hale mansion. There he meets her son, Adrian Hale—a cold, powerful CEO sixteen years his senior. Leo is instantly drawn to Adrian and pursues him with relentless charm, breaking through Adrian's walls. Their secret romance blossoms, but when Sophia returns early and catches them kissing in the pool, she is horrified. Fearing scandal and the age gap, she forces Leo out and secretly arranges a semester exchange program, making Leo believe Adrian approved. Heartbroken, Leo confronts Sophia, but Adrian arrives to deny it. In the chaos, a steel beam falls; Leo pushes Adrian to safety and is critically injured. At the hospital, Adrian confesses to Sophia that Leo is not a mistake but the man he loves. Sophia, witnessing Leo's sacrifice, finally relents and cancels the program. Leo recovers, and as Adrian helps him pack, Leo flashes back to a childhood memory: ten years ago, young Adrian visited his orphanage, comforted him, and cleaned him up. Now they are together, and Leo whispers that Adrian is finally his boyfriend. Love conquers fear, control, and age, as two souls find each other across time.
