Synopsis
Eli Lambert has never been treated as a son. To his family, he is only valuable blood stock. On a stormy night, he is chained in white sacrificial robes and thrown into the Black Marsh, a cursed wasteland where no one survives for more than three days. There, he meets Kael, a cold man in an old black cloak who pretends to be nothing more than a forgotten wanderer. Eli does not know that Kael is actually the Lord of the Abyss, betrayed and sealed by the Lambert family a hundred years ago. Eli’s blood can make dead land bloom, and Kael’s darkness can protect him from every monster in the marsh. At first, they only try to survive in a broken wooden house. Eli plants seeds, raises a strange little sheep, repairs the roof, and slowly turns the wasteland into a home. But the Lambert family soon comes to drag him back, revealing the truth behind the blood vault, the false sacrifice contract, and the lives stolen for generations. Eli refuses to remain a sacrifice, and Kael refuses to be the monster they named. Together, they expose the blood vault, rewrite the old contract, free the Black Marsh, and prove that the abyss does not need sacrifices anymore. In the end, the cursed land becomes a new home. No sacrifice. Only seeds.
