Synopsis
Lin Fanghua, richest woman in Capital City, is reborn on the day her daughter, Serena Sullivan, was murdered. In her past life, Serena, 8 months pregnant, was locked in a -20°C freezer truck and froze to death after catching her husband, Cole Howard, cheating with his assistant, Riley Hall. In this life, Lin Fanghua uses location tracking to rush to Bayside City, discovering that Serena hid in a refrigerator inside the freezer truck to gather evidence, only to be locked in and shipped off by Riley's brother, Han Chao. At the cold chain company, Lin Fanghua faces three obstacles: Cole, fearing the loss of cold air for a multi-million dollar order; Riley, secretly sabotaging to silence her; and Han Chao, lying that the truck is transporting a 'life-saving organ.' After her identity as the richest woman is revealed, Cole still doubts his mother-in-law's wealth and allows Riley to throw the key into a sewer. After Police Captain Zane Jacobs intervenes, Lin Fanghua guarantees 'ten times compensation for opening the container' and even offers 'her own heart,' but Cole, fearing it's a setup by the mother and daughter, refuses to open the refrigerator. Finally, when blood seeps from the refrigerator, Cole opens it to find Serena, covered in frost, having miscarried and fallen unconscious.
