Synopsis
Forensic pathologist Maya Henderson finds dismembered body parts at a market and suspects they link to recent local homicides. After examination, Captain Cook identifies the victim as Maya’s biological son Noah Hayes from his tattoo. Biased against Noah, Maya cites his phone call the previous night as an excuse, unaware it was his final message. She even believes Noah and Captain Cook are conspiring to fool her. Mid‑argument, the DNA report confirms the victim is Noah. Grief‑stricken, Maya sees Noah’s belongings with Captain Cook and cannot tell whether they are real. She puts her trust in Lucas Bennett. While investigating her son’s murder, Maya gradually uncovers the full truth.
