Synopsis

Charon, a funeral conductor drifting through history. Those whose funerals he conducts see descendants blessed with immense fortune. Five thousand years pass. Charon awakens, reopening his millenary Undertaking Shop. The Chen family, wealthiest in the Great Xia Dynasty, hears of his return. The ailing Chen patriarch, facing imminent death, issues a bounty to find Charon to secure the family's future. The mysterious funeral saga begins. A young woman, her father dead due to the young Chen master's corruption and engineering failure, arrives. Denied compensation by the Chen family, she finds the Undertaking Shop and draws a lot.
