Synopsis
Zhang Yang came to Beijing from the countryside. Assigned to Tuanjiehu’s “dead zone,” he had no salary, no connections, and only a notebook. He lived in a basement and endured humiliation. He memorized 326 names and helped elderly residents. Aunt Wang came to trust him. With sincerity and professionalism, he sold old homes. One year later, he became the sales champion and was promoted to manager. He handed his “district dictionary” to an apprentice: “Wear out three pairs of shoes. Then come back and ask me.” Hard work leads to victory.
