あらすじ
In Silverpine, a small town nestled in the misty forests of the American Northwest, werewolf nobles hide among human society under the guises of “ancient families” and “private medical foundations.” The female protagonist, Liora Vale, is a Moonlight Healer of the lowest rank. With no offensive abilities, she can only heal wounds and alleviate curses, and is treated by the werewolf nobles as a lowly physician at their beck and call. Serena, the political bride-to-be of Alpha heir Kael Ashborne, falls into a “Dark Moon Coma” on the eve of their engagement ceremony. To cover up the Dark Moon curse spreading among the wolf clan, the noble elders pin the blame on Liora, accusing her of “healing the future Luna to death” and demanding a public trial. On the dock, all the werewolves demanded her punishment. Yet Kael publicly activated the Alpha Oath Seal, imprinting his life mark onto the palm of her hand. A silvery light flared, and the Black Moon fissures on his body vanished instantly. Kael declared before everyone: “She didn’t kill her. She saved me.” From that moment on, Liora was no longer merely a scorned healer, but became the only antidote for the entire wolf clan. Kael had to protect her, but doing so meant putting himself at odds with his own clan, the Council of Elders, and all the families with whom they had political alliances.
